This episode covers the tools that can be used to cut conduit to length, and the process of forming threads on the ends to allow connection to boxes and other fittings.
As with most things, there are several options for the tools used. Conduit can be cut with a hacksaw, angle grinder with slitting disc or a powered hacksaw or chop saw.
This video shows threading with a manual tool, however electric powered threading tools are available which may be useful for large scale projects.
The conduit vice featured in this video is attached to a bending machine. Bending will be covered in a future episode.
